Individual Therapy
For adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, perfectionism, burnout, grief, identity shifts, trauma, and the emotional complexities of parenthood.
How I work →Depth-oriented psychotherapy in Toronto
Psychotherapy for adults and couples who want more than a quick fix—people ready to understand themselves more deeply and create change that feels lasting, relational, and real.
Who I work with
Many people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and accustomed to holding a lot. They may already understand where some of their patterns come from—but still find themselves overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, becoming overwhelmed, or repeating familiar relationship dynamics.
Ways to work together
My work is collaborative and integrative. We can focus on what is happening now while also making space to understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shaped how you learned to cope.
For adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, perfectionism, burnout, grief, identity shifts, trauma, and the emotional complexities of parenthood.
How I work →Attachment-informed couples work drawing from Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy to help partners understand the cycle beneath conflict, distance, and disconnection.
About the approach →Support for identity changes, relationship strain, anxiety, emotional overload, and the less-discussed psychological shifts that can accompany becoming a parent.
Start with a consultation →My approach
Practical tools matter. So does understanding why a pattern developed, what it may have protected you from, what keeps it going, and what it would mean to respond differently now.
I work primarily from psychodynamic, attachment-based, relational, emotion-focused, and neuroscience-informed perspectives. Depending on your needs, I also integrate DBT-informed skills, parts work, mindfulness, CBT/ACT strategies, and trauma-informed interventions.
About Annahita
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in marketing and brand strategy. That experience gave me an intimate understanding of achievement, career identity, performance pressure, and what it can feel like to keep functioning even when something internally no longer feels sustainable.
Today, I am a Registered Psychotherapist and founder of Restora Psychotherapy. I support adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, identity concerns, life transitions, trauma, and perinatal or maternal mental health concerns.
My work is relational and depth-oriented. Rather than treating you as a collection of symptoms, I am interested in how your history, attachment experiences, nervous system, coping strategies, and current relationships interact—and what becomes possible when those patterns are understood with greater clarity and compassion.
Professional development
I see ongoing training and supervision as part of ethical, responsive psychotherapy—not as a list of acronyms, but as a way of continually strengthening how I understand and support clients.
